Saturday 12th September 2009

The event ion 12th September hopes to build on what has been established over the last 2 years. We pray for a united, committed team to bring the gospel in all its transforming power to the precious people of this city.

2nd Annual Fire & Glory

September 2008

The day was all that we expected, prayed and believed for. During August and early September the rain poured down remorselessly. BUT from Thursday to Sunday the very fickle English weather behaved itself and we had a “window” of wonderful warm, sunny, light breezy “Indian Summer” weather. It certainly brought the crowds out to the city centre – when the weather is this good we took full advantage of it!

Over the period of 5 hours the Worship group did a tremendous ministry! They were completely exhausted but very glad the praise went “out” and “up”!

The preaching of the Evangelists brought conviction and salvation – over 30 response cards were filled out and every one will be followed up. Behind the staging area was where the action was taking place with those who had come forward either for salvation, healing or prayer. The healing tent was busy all day – with people waiting to get in! The prayer tent was also similarly occupied.

1st Annual Fire & Glory

October 2007

The event took place in Humberstone Gate, where people from every tongue and nation gathered in the beautiful late summer sunshine! Many Nationalities, including Tamil, Gujarati, African, Chinese and English which make up the Body of Christ in Leicester, were represented at the event. Declaring in unity “How Great is our God!” as praise and worship was offered to the Name above all names. The Gospel was proclaimed through preaching, dancing, testimonies, drama and song. Behind the main stage a prayer and healing tent was made extremely busy all day! Many were ministered to, lives changed forever by the power of God.

John 13

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
